We met with friends last night for the first of a six week Bible study.  Last night's segment was titled 'When you believe in God but don't really know him'.  The study challenged us to look closer at our relationship with God - do we know God or just know of him?  Now, I must confess that I have read the book that the study is based on twice prior to the study, so the information wasn't new to me last night but the conversation was challenging and encouraging.

But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you:
to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul.  (Joshua 22:5)
